As the Lead Product Designer and Strategist for a stealth AI-driven health tech startup, I have been responsible for transforming the founder's visionary concept of virtual healthcare into a multi-faceted, agent-driven platform. The platform is designed to serve both patient and provider users, with the goal of streamlining healthcare journeys through intuitive, conversational, and intelligent interactions. While what I can share is limited by a nondisclosure agreement, the work samples below are from the MVP I spearheaded the design of, focusing on key patient features that not only enhance user experience and drive positive health outcomes, but also empower providers to operate independently, ultimately increasing revenue potential. My role centered on distilling the expansive vision into a targeted, market-ready product that delights users and stands out in the health tech landscape.
Patient Command Center
The command center dashboard gives users an at-a-glance view of their daily health to-do’s, biometric progress, messages with their providers, appointments, billing, and current medications. Patients are able to query the AI-agent and pull specific reports or charts which can be pinned to the dashboard for easy monitoring.
Meeting Your Provider
After onboarding the user is taken through the platform’s proprietary clinical intake process which helps to match them with their care team. The user is given a selection of providers to review and then schedules their first telehealth appointment. The platform provides user experience optionality, depending on whether the patient moves through a fully conversational flow with the AI-agent or a more traditional clickable experience.
Interactive Agentic Telehealth
Telehealth appointments are revolutionized with the addition of an AI-agent. Users are able to summon any information they may need to reference during their provider visit, so that they can have the most successful outcomes. The patient and provider are both able to share files in an interactive telehealth workspace to review anything, whether it is diagnostic imaging or a chart of historic CGM spike data.
The medications module goes beyond typical EHR offerings by providing the reason for prescription, detailed drug information, and best practices. This expanded view empowers the patient-user and encourages healthcare transparency.
